What it means
Pisces is a water sign and a mutable sign, so it absorbs moods easily and adapts to the people around it. Its symbol is two fish swimming in opposite directions, often read as a pull between the everyday world and the inner one. Modern astrology gives Pisces to Neptune, the planet of dreams and dissolving boundaries, while traditional astrology gives it to Jupiter, which adds faith and generosity. The Codex calls the Pisces Sun the mystic, whose purpose is to dissolve boundaries and connect with the divine. It tends to shine when it is artistic, empathetic and spiritually open. It often picks up on how a room feels before anyone has said a word.
Strengths
Compassion, imagination, intuition, gentleness, and a deep feel for music, art and story.
Challenges
Escapism, weak boundaries, drifting without a plan, and taking on other people's pain as its own.
Dates
The Sun moves through Pisces from about February 19 to March 20. The exact dates shift by a day or so from year to year, so if you were born near either edge, your birth time and place decide which sign your Sun is in. A free blueprint calculates it exactly.
How Cosmic Array reads it
Your Sun is one part of the chart, not the whole of it. The Moon and Rising sign change the picture: a Pisces Sun with a Virgo Rising may look organized and precise at work while living in a rich, dreamy inner world. Cosmic Array also reads your Sun against your numerology and Human Design, and where they pull in different directions, the blueprint names that tension instead of picking one side.
