What it means
An Expression 5 learns by doing and gets restless with routine. They tend to do well in sales, travel, media or any work where no two days look the same, and they can talk to almost anyone. Freedom matters to them more than security. The lesson is commitment: learning that some freedom comes from sticking with one thing.

How to calculate it
Write out your full birth name and give each letter its Pythagorean value: A, J and S are 1; B, K and T are 2; and so on up to I and R, which are 9. Add every letter, then reduce the total to a single digit, keeping 11, 22 and 33 whole. Accents don't change a letter's value. Example: Rosa Price. Rosa: 9 + 6 + 1 + 1 = 17 and Price: 7 + 9 + 9 + 3 + 5 = 33. Together 17 + 33 = 50, then 5 + 0 = 5.
