What starseed lore says
Starseed writers describe Pleiadians as the heart of the starseed family. They are said to arrive gentle, sensitive and full of affection, and to feel other people's pain almost as their own. Many are drawn to healing work, teaching, music, art, animals or simply being the friend everyone calls in a crisis. The lore says they came to bring softness to a hard world, and that their main lesson here is that love also needs limits.
Strengths
Empathy, a creative streak, a calming presence, warmth people feel quickly, and a natural pull toward care work.
Challenges
Weak boundaries, absorbing other people's moods, burning out from trying to save everyone, avoiding conflict, and struggling in harsh places among harsh people.
The star: Alcyone
Alcyone is the brightest star of the Pleiades, an open cluster of hot young stars in the constellation Taurus, about 440 light years away. The cluster is easy to see without a telescope, and cultures around the world tell stories about it, from the Greek Seven Sisters to Matariki, whose rising marks the Māori new year. The code places Alcyone at about 29 degrees Taurus in the tropical zodiac. The Sun comes within 5 degrees of that point around May 15 to May 26 each year (a day either way, depending on the year), in the last days of Taurus and the first days of Gemini, so people born then pick up the star points through their Sun. The Moon and Rising can reach it on any date.
How the origin is worked out
Cosmic Array scores seven origins from two sources. The first is a four-question quiz, and Pleiadian picks up points from these answers: "Lush forests, nature, and vibrant life" on the home landscape question (1 point); "To heal, nurture, and spread love" on the motivation question (2 points); "Unconditional Love & Harmony" on the cosmic superpower question (2 points). The second is your chart: if your Sun, Moon or Rising is within 5 degrees of Alcyone, Pleiadian gets 3 more points (once, even if two or all three are close). The highest score wins. In a tie, an origin with a star contact goes first, then the one your superpower answer scored, then landscape, motivation and challenge in that order. The quiz is balanced so that each of the seven origins comes out on top for a similar share of answer combinations. If you skip the quiz and none of the seven stars touches your Sun, Moon or Rising, the reading says Earth Soul instead.
How Cosmic Array reads it
When you create a blueprint, Cosmic Array offers the short Starseed Calibration quiz, which you can skip. The Architect blueprint then shows your origin with a one-line summary, and its written synthesis can tie it to the rest of your chart. Your Moon and Rising depend on birth time, so an accurate time makes the star check more reliable.
