What it means
Scorpio is a water sign and a fixed sign, so its feelings run deep and tend to last. Its symbol is the scorpion, small and guarded, with a sting it rarely needs to use. Modern astrologers give Scorpio to Pluto, the planet of endings and renewal, while traditional astrology gives it to Mars, which adds courage and will. The Codex calls the Scorpio Sun the alchemist: its purpose is to explore the mysteries of life and transform. It tends to shine when engaging with deep truths and real emotional intensity.
Strengths
Focus, loyalty, emotional honesty, resilience, and the nerve to face what others would rather avoid.
Challenges
Secrecy, jealousy, holding grudges, and an all-or-nothing streak that makes it hard to trust slowly.
Dates
The Sun moves through Scorpio from about October 23 to November 21. The exact dates shift by a day or so from year to year, so if you were born near either edge, your birth time and place decide which sign your Sun is in. A free blueprint calculates it exactly.
How Cosmic Array reads it
Your Sun is one part of the chart, not the whole of it. The Moon and Rising sign change the picture: a Scorpio Sun with a Gemini Rising can seem light and talkative at first, while keeping its real thoughts for the few people it has decided to trust. Cosmic Array also reads your Sun against your numerology and Human Design, and where they pull in different directions, the blueprint names that tension instead of picking one side.
